(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Nov 9, 2009) In a week 9 Purplepride.org Fantasy Football intra-divisional showdown, The Gods of Football embarrassed a hapless Formo's Spartans team by a score of 158 to 106, extending the losing streak for Formo's Spartans to 3 games.

The Gods of Football were led to their 52 point victory by a 33 point effort from Larry Fitzgerald, who beat the Chicago Bears defense for 123 receiving yards and 2 receiving tds. With this performance, Fitzgerald was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 9. They also got help from a 30 point effort from Greg Olsen, who snuck past the Arizona Cardinals defense for 71 receiving yards and 3 receiving tds.

"We're going to use this win as a building block," The Gods of Football coach Zeus said.

Formo's Spartans were helped out in a losing cause by a 20 point effort from Andre Johnson, who beat the Indianapolis Colts defense for 103 receiving yards. They also got help from a 19 point effort from Drew Brees, who beat the Carolina Panthers defense for 330 passing yards and 1 passing td in addition to 4 rushing yards.

"We came up a little short," Formo's Spartans coach Formo said.

This brings the record for The Gods of Football to 5-4, and drops Formo's Spartans to a record of 5-4.

Coming up in week 10, Formo's Spartans are at the 3-6 Webby's Conquerers, where Webby's Conquerers are an early 32.3-point underdog, while the 2-7 Big Booty Lovers are at The Gods of Football, where The Gods of Football are an early 19.6-point favorite.
