Re: FF Teams Who Will Not Return Next Year

Were not gonna start a "Fire Marrdro" thread cause I played and my team still sucked are we?
    ;D

Wildman will also take a team if you need another guy to run one.
Just don't put him in with me.
    ;D
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

    No, they were questionable.
And I'm sure Ultra is able to see if you actually submitted a lineup this week, rather than just letting it roll over from last week.
If you submitted a lineup with Harrison in it, then, rather than being lazy and screwing others because of it, it shows that you're taking a risk with your lineup that may or may not pay off.
I got no issues personally with that.

Starting people on BYE weeks, however, should be a tossable offense.

Some people have royally blown it from week 1.

Others have failed to turn in a weekly lineup.
Now, that is not always bad.
But, some just did not turn in a lineup this week and they have bye week players on their lineups.
By doing this you are screwing other teams.
Lets say I need your team (which you did not bother to turn in a lineup) to beat a team ahead of me.
Well, the odds of that team winning increase because you did not turn a lineup in.

I have week by week who did not turn in a lineup and those teams will not be asked to play next year.

    It's not that hard.
    Hmmmm....let's see.
I bet Duvaldomo & BBQ Platypus are both on the list.
Just a hunch (since neither has submitted a lineup for a single game this season).

Anybody can see who submitted a lineup prior to the games starting.
You can also see who played "bye week" or "injured" players.
Of the 10 people who did not submit a lineup, 2 of them were ok because they had no "bye week" players and did not play a player who was not injured.
6 people did not submit and had "bye" or "injured" players and we still have the 2 teams that have yet to ever submit a lineup.

As far as injuries, I am talking about people starting players who are "out" or not even going to play or players who were not going to even play.
    Example:
Marc Bulger (Injured and it was reported Ferotte was starting), Santana Moss (Doubtful), Andre Johnson (Out), Maroney (Questionable but was not going to play).

Sure, if you want to play a "Questionable" player thats on you.
I have done it and I have had success but I have also been burned.

There are a lot of members here (some have been here a long time) that were unable to get into this league and it's a shame that people have failed to update their lineups.
You screw other teams and it's unfair to give you a spot while others had to miss this year.
The 2 teams that have never turned in a lineup.
So, each week whoever plays them gets a free win.

May I ask what happens from here on in terms of this season?

    1. Will some teams be replaced?
    2. Do you still want updates from us regular FF players as to who doesn't maintain their teams properly?

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

    Probably nothing.

I check to see who is playing every week.

There are several people who have stepped up and said they would take over a team.
If Duval and BBQ aren't playing, why can't you kick them out and replace them as owners?

It does mess up the league when there are those who just don't take it seriously...

Just yesterday, I checked in after the 1 o'clock games and was tied with 65 points each.

I looked to see who I had left on the board to produce me some points, and then I checked my aponents team.....

His starting QB was on a bye week and his #1 RB the same......

Sure, after checking again this morning, I don't even need the game played tonight, I have the Dallas D this week....I"ve already won.

But it just takes alot of fun out of it and no doubt it can hurt others in the league play.

Hell, he probably could have beat me, if he took the time to put in some decent back ups...

I think in my whole Div
Page Div.........There are like 2 to 3 people who aren't even really playing....

But this seems to happen every year.
And really there's no excuse for it.

Hell, two years ago, I went to the Philippines for 3 weeks during the football season, and I still got my picks and moves in on time every week.......

I LOVE THE SMELL OF VICTORY IN THE MORNING AIR.
