Fantasy Football Impact Report: Tarvaris Jackson

Tarvaris Jackson was far from impressive in his first year as an NFL starter, passing for just 1,911 yards and nine TDs in 12 games in 2007. Jackson did, however, show flashes of what he is capable of, but those flashed were few and far between. He is definitely worth a late-round flyer in larger leagues that start two QBs. While I don't expect him to light up the fantasy world, he should improve on his numbers from 2007.....

Re: Fantasy Football Impact Report: Tarvaris Jackson

the way our offence is set up, Tjack should not be a fantasy star, but manage a game without forcing bad plays, and without giving up the ball.

with the tools he has i agree he should be leaps and bounds better then last year, but i still don't see a need for him to be a Brady as we have other weapons to do plenty of dmg to D's.

a good article, and a good review of a young qb. now lets see his effenciy go through the roof and 21 point games be enouf to win say 12-13 games.
with a few more points going passed the 14 game win mark.

That was a good read, Singersp.
I think they were right on about our upside!

If you see Booty on the field in Minnesota in 2008, something isn't going as planned.
Now that wins the "Stating the Obvious" award right there

I would assume the Vikings would like to run a ball-control passing game, which isn't Berrian's strong suit. Berrian is a deep ball receiver who may get lost in this offense.
If Berrian can catch 70+ balls in Chicago's "high flying" offense, than I think he'll be just fine here.

All in all it was nice to read some common sense stuff about Tavaris! 8)

Re: Fantasy Football Impact Report: Tarvaris Jackson

The only value TJ has towards FF is that he could cover a bye week..thats it..I have close to 20 teams on ESPN, and I didnt see him drafted at all, not even on auto draft.
