This is my first FFL with D players.

I may have too many D bench players.
    Any manager tips?
Here's my advice - don't play in FF leagues that use individual defensive players.

    Re: Defensive FFL Advice?

You're putting too much name value into it.
Ed Reed sucks in IDP, he may score a couple touchdowns at some point throughout the year, but he doesn't get very many tackles.
Actually Cedric Griffin is better than him in fantasy.

One tip, go for teams second best corner, they throw their way more often, which leads to greater opportunity.
Also secondary players on bad defenses, who are on the field more often, and are often the last line of defense, end up with inflated tackle numbers.

Even at LB and DL, go with tackles, tackles, tackles, take the sure points.

I gotta differ with you on this one.
IDP's are great addition to the fantasy world.
Let's you pay attention to both sides of the ball if you are watching primarily for fantasy purposes.
It works best when you have to field a complete defensive team - about 7 or 8 players.
Especially when you are required to use DL, LB, and DB positions.
    It's a great addition.

    Try Dqwell Jackson ( browns)
Most Vikings Lbs go undrated...Henderson or Greenway are good betts.
Stay away from most sack masters. They cannot be trusted week in and week out.

Do whatever it takes to get Demaco Ryans from the texans. Drop Fatsworths.

Otherwise, team doesn't look to bad besides the risks at qb.

    Ryans is gone.
I think EJ will make up for it.

As far as D, I think I am going to have to really find some hidden gems.

    Re: Defensive FFL Advice?

I am with Z, leagues that have individual d players are a pain in the butt.
I would stay away from them in the future.
As for team defenses, when in doubt just pick up whoever plays the raiders or lions (plus a few other teams)
I have won my league the last 3 years and I usually do not have the same defense or kicker from week to week.
