Blockbuster Deal in Dynasty League

I just made the following trade:

I received:

Adrian Peterson ($5 contract through 2009)
Jake Delhomme ($5 contract may escalate if top 15 QB this year)

I gave up:

Peyton Manning ($83 contract that may escalate if top 15 QB this year)
Joseph Addai ($5 contract may escalate if top 15 RB this year)
Heath Miller ($6 contract may escalate if top 15 TE this year)

We get a $250 cap to freeze up to 15 players each year.

I have Kurt Warner as my starting QB now that I traded Manning......

I am 4-2 this year and tied for 1st place.
I hope I didn't just cut my throat for the year.
AP better start turning in those 150 yd, 2 TD games...........

Absolutely great deal. I think that Peyton is going to be solid the rest of the year ... but Warner and even Delhomme don't kill you and you are set next year with Adrian for cheap. Well done.

Looks a little better now with Addai out 2-4 weeks with a slightly torn hamstring.......

You riped him off... Addai is hurt, miller has like zero points, and manning has only had one good week. well done.
