Am I a traitor?
So I have A. Rodgers as my starting QB, Matt Forte has my premiere back and Mason Crosby as my K (not to mention a few Steelers players, I HATE the Steelers).
Keep in mind, I have Shiancoe, Vikings D, Berrian, and Rice(bench) as well.
So, I leave it up to you Rho Rho Omega (PP.O), Am I a Traitor for having so many NFCN rivals on my FF team?Trying to bring rationale to an irrational site

As long as you hope for Rodgers to throw picks not TDs, Forte to fumble and stumble and Crosby to miss extra-points when they play the Vikings, you're fine.So I have A. This is FF which could make you money.
1 thing I learned is you can't play FF with your heart.
I did that a couple of years ago and sat Steve Smith when they played the Vikings.
That was the game he torched Smoot for over 200 yards receiving.
I actually have 3 Bears on my team.
Forte, Olsen and Gould.
I also have Calvin Johnson.
Funny how we are in a division that supposedly lacks offense but yet these are all high picks in fantasy leagues.
Well maybe not Gould but you know what I mean.
Now I have the Viking Defense and I drafted Harvin.
Berrian and Shiancoe were drafted before I could get to them but I would have if they were still available.

Re: Am I a traitor?
Not a traitor, but a little crazy, lol.
Mason Crosby has been scaring the crap out of us Puker fans since late last season.
He has had some holder issues this pre-season, (legitimate excuse, mostly)
but honestly I think I'd trade him.
Kickers are usually easy to get anyway.
I like Mason, but just as you went pragmatic and "off fan" in some of your selections, it's only fair that I too go "off fan" and give you a bit of a heads up on Mason.
It could also just be nerves...mine, not Crosby's.

However I took Favre this year...most people don't have a high opinion of Favre, my logic is he has torched the Vikings enough to earn my respect, I think he still has a little juice left in the tank.

Re: Am I a traitor?
No way!
GB only has a passing game, so I would expect Rodgers to continue to rack up the #'s.
Don't expect Forte to do much this year, Cutler will want his #'s and likes to throw the long ball, so Forte's carries will go down, I seriously doubt he'll break 1000yds.
I expect Shank to have a pro-bowl year and be a favorite in the end zone.
On the other hand, in a football pool where you're picking a winner, not picking the Vikes IS BEING A TRAITOR.
I've lost several pools, because of my biased choice, but I still stay faithful!

Re: Am I a traitor?
It's FF,
All players, Vikings or not, are up for grabs.......
I did end up with Favre, Rice, Shanko......
I believe Shanko will be the biggest sleeper of all.
I believe he can vault into a top 4 TE slot this season.
BF has always loved his TE's, and sent a good number of them to play in the Pro Bowl.
I see BF and Shanko becoming a great duo for this team this season....

I LOVE THE SMELL OF VICTORY IN THE MORNING AIR.
