Draft a kicker early.
Be sure to get a guy like Favre as your starting quarterback. Need the leadership on the team.
Runningbacks are overrated. Take tight ends.
We're bringing purple back.

Don't listen to him. It really all depends on your scoring system. In some leagues, receptions and completions count which will throw off any help you get her. Usually Rbs are the focus of most drafts. Typically if I am drafting late. I grab 2 Rbs and then a QB and WR. Draft position depends.

get a RB early though, There's not a lot of good RB's that will consistently get you lots of points, and if you wait for the second or third round, you could end up with a crappy starter or a backup as your primary back, which is a sure way to not do well.

LOL,
It seems pretty standard 1 pt for a reception, 1 pt for every 10 yards, for both WR, and Rb.
a td counts for 6. so on and so forth!
I'm drafting 8 out of 12 with a snake style draft 1,2,3,4...12, then followed with 12, 11,10, 9,....1)

It's all a hoax to get your 25 dollars, fantasy football is just that, all concocted to get you excited about wasting your time at work...and get you ass fired in the process.
Read my sig.Glutenous enjoyer of fantasy and football...hoping that one day the two will be joined...

Re: 1st time ff player Advice
The way i've been drafting this year (due to solid value later) is Stud RB (AD, Turner, Forte, MJD, LT, SJax) than go WR WR WR. There is lack of quality receivers in the later rounds, while there's good value at RB in 5-8th rounds. If you don't get Brady, P Manning, Brees... i'd wait on a QB like Ryan or McNabb.
One team i have drafting with the 2nd overall pick:
1 M Forte
2 R Moss (dont ask how he dropped... this draft was RB/QB happy)
3 C Johnson (again with him)
4 M Colston
5 D McNabb
6 K Smith (solid, may have a break out year)
7 T Jones (solid backup)
8 K Walter
9. Min
10. P Harvin
11. V Shaincoe
12. R Rice (sleeper running back this year)
13. R Longwell
14. M Hassleback
15. A Fasano
thank you Josdin00 for the amazing sig!
and yes... that just happened!
