It's those kind of reactions, and the smiles on the faces of small children, which make the work worth the effort.

A few other rankings:
ESPN
Vikings 17
Chester Taylor is a poor man's Tiki Barber. He runs hard, gets yards but for some reason, can never seem to find the end zone.
CBS Sportsline
Vikings 16
The defense bailed them out against the Lions, but they have to get better on offense if they want to make the playoffs. There's just not enough happening in the passing game.
Fox Sports
Vikings 19
The Vikes did what they had to do to escape a scare from winless Detroit on Sunday. With the offense hiccupping, the defense scored twice — including a fourth quarter Ben Leber fumble recovery for a TD — and toppled Detroit 26-17. Minnesota's got a bye week this weekend. Let's hope they stay away from all things boat-related. Jokes! I'll be here all week.

Vikings 15
I heard one telecaster say that Minnesota held Detroit to "16 yards Russian." I guess when you use foreign measurements, you get 'em all screwed up.

Vikings 17
Showed in the first half against the Lions that this team cannot afford to turn the ball over.
Gridiron Grumblings
Vikings 11
