Just want to get some clarification on this since my friends and I have argued over this time and time again...

Who is the best receiver right now, and the best receiver of all time?

Of all time - Rice (although I think Moss can give him a good run before it's said and done)
Right now - I'll say Andre Johnson slightly over Fitzgerald

well statistics say Rice but i'm going to say Randy Dandy because he put up very impressive numbers without great quarterbacks. (besides Brady but most his career wasn't with him) where Rice had Montana and Young (two of the greatest) throwing to him almost all his career.

Jerry Rice is the best receiver ever. Although he played in a revolutionary offense, on some of the best teams ever, with two of the best QBs to ever play the game including arguably the best QB ever.

Randy Moss is the most talented ever, but lacked the drive early in his career to be the best ever, who knows what he could have done with his head on straight. Some of the things he did are amazing enough, despite "I play when I wanna play."

Cris Carter has the best hands ever, bar none.
