Re: Young, Offensive Rookie of the Year
I picked MoJo-JoJo.. I mean, MoJo-Drew for offensive ROY, and I'll admit I took the statistics into account more than his effect on the team.
Whereas I am proud to say I predicted the right candidate for defensive ROY.. So it balances out. :P

Re: Young, Offensive Rookie of the Year
Vince Young deserved that hands down... While Reggie Bush played very well, Young managed his team.. As a rookie, Titans fans should be very happy...
Maurice Jones-Drew played better then Reggie Bush as well, imo... So if Yound didn't win it, Jones-Drew had a very good shot at winning it..

D-Ryans, D-Rookie of the year
DeMeco Ryans wins that defensive rookie of the year award.
There were a few people that thought we might take this guy in the first round??
It would have been risky, but I remember people saying it.
I am also sure that we had him for an interview in MN.
On a side note, take a look at this note. Also, just think how the Texans would look if they had these players.
It's just a coincidence that the two times the Texans have had the No. 1 pick they just missed on the rookie of the year from the other side of the ball.
When they took quarterback David Carr in 2002, Julius Peppers went No. 2 and was the top rookie defender. This year, they selected defensive end Mario Williams, while Young, the third pick, is the Offensive Rookie of the Year.
The good news is the Texans have done well later in the draft, making a host of teams look foolish for not drafting Ryans, who the Texans got in the second round. In 2003, fourth-round pick Domanick Williams, the running back formerly known as Domanick Davis, was the top offensive rook.
Young
Peppers
Davis
Ryans
No Carr and No Mario W.

Re: Young and Ryans Rookies of the Year
YOUNG did NOT deserve OROY...he got the nod because he is a QB...Maurice Jones-Drew would have been a MUCH better choice...heck, Youhg's QB rating was WORSE than Brad Johnson's!!!
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE
