its not to bad where i live now, but in my hometown it's gotten down to almost -60 Celcius with wind chill before

Were having blizzard like conditions here right now. Not Antarctica, but ground blizzard with whiteout conditions and drifting out in the country where I live.
Sending people home early and some are staying in town tonight.
I'll make it home even if I have to walk the last 2 miles. ( I do that about once or twice a year).
I'm just pissed because I have to scoop and push snow again.

Update. I didn't make it home last night. Turned around and stayed in town. 20 car pile up in front of me.
Went home at 5 this morning and their were four cars in the ditch just beyond where I turned around last night.
Son got stranded about 30 miles west when they closed the highway. He stayed with friends.
Daughter and son in law made it half way home and ended up staying with relatives.

I'm glad everyone is safe.

37 mph sustained winds gusting to 50. Snow, lots of it this year. Leave the city once under those conditions. It's a total white out. Plowing doesn't do much good.
Besides were a red state. What the hell would we know?
