I'm so sick of hearing about him changing his mind. BTW, what happened to his locker?

He has to know what he would be doing to the front office, and to franchise in general. This could possibly ruin the franchise for years if he came back and received the 12 million he was owed.

You have to be a prick to do that to your team. Then again, remember when he said it wasn't his job to help train Rodgers? Yeah, exactly. He only cares about himself. All the more reason the majority of people on here hate the guy.

    Re: Are you serious, Favre?

anyone else see the irony in the fact that this info comes out on the heels of Rodgers saying, "the fans need to get on board or shut their mouths" ?
    LOL
The FO has to be so pissed right now.

    "Packers | Favre update
    Wed, 2 Jul 2008 15:00:00 -0700

Updating a previous report, Jason Wilde, of the Wisconsin State Journal, reports retired NFL QB Brett Favre (Packers) contacted the Packers in the past few weeks about returning but the team made it clear they have moved on and Favre asked for his release from the team. The Packers denied the request. Team spokesman Jeff Blumb said head coach Mike McCarthy and general manager Ted Thompson were unavailable for comment because they are on vacation. Blumb said he had no information on the matter."

This is hilarious, on NFL Live they were speculating about the possibility of Favre playing for another team despite the Packers.
The only team besides they mentioned besides G.B was.... you guessed it.
They also talked about how the opening Monday Night game is scheduled to be a huge Favre tribute.
Just imagining the possibility makes me laugh.
Not saying I would necessarily want Favre, but you have to admit, nothing would infuriate Pack fans more than Favre wearing purple.

    Chuch.

It would be impossible for it to be on our roster without a massive pay cut not to mention the fact that it is just wrong.
