I think its great, the more he pulls this crap the more pressure he puts on rogers.
Keep it up Brett!
I Don't believe it, i think it's the media wanting to put some pressure on him or something...
He sees the writing on the wall.
He would count 12.5 million against the cap.
Knows that he can force GB to take him or release him. Then he can sign on with the Vikes and go win one more Super Bowl.
What a media whore, this guy is in love with himself.
anyone want to arrange cancellation of the number retirement ceremony currently planned for the opening game
;D ;D ah it's great to see the Packers get their off-season screwed some more by Favre
Eh ... I don't know that it is fair to call him a media whore over this. There is not ONE QUOTE from Favre. I think the media can be classified as a little whorish on this by poking and prodding until they could get one person (anonymous of course) to say he "has the itch."
I don't think it is impossible that Favre will play, but I think it is unlikely ... and think this report is a lot more of a product of the media and boredom than it is of Favre wanting attention.
But Favre never did sign his official NFL retirement papers. Until he does, he is not officially retired and the cap still counts against the Packers.

Actually ... if they place him on "Retired-reserve" I believe it does not count ... or definitely counts less.Quote:

What I'm saying is that in the eyes of the NFL, he is not retired until he signs his official retirement papers -- which he hasn't done. GB can say he's retired but in the eyes of the NFL, he's not until he signs the papers.Quote:
