Thread: Are you afraid of the Eagles?

Just wanted some opinions on this. I for one am not and I'm sick of every NFL reporter praising them like they are now the NFL gods. We can beat them.

on paper they look dominating but then again no one thought we would beat them last year a great game plan can tromp overall talent of the indivual players.

Seeing is believing, if they go out an go undefeated and win it all then i'll tip my cap, but i doubt they will even reach NFCCG tbh.

Scared? No. That is ridiculous.

They are better than us for sure. Top to bottom they are built very well and they are essentially pushing all their chips into the middle of the table.

I think they have as good a shot as anyone in the conference (Packers, Falcons, Saints, Cowboys, Giants) of going to the Super Bowl, but they still will have some trouble for sure. Especially if Vick's dominance proves to be more fluke than future.

They look like a pretty good team, but I still look at the NFL as being very random from week to week. Bringing in talented players helps for sure. But it's no guarantee.

I would also say that it is hardly the most intimidating roster of all time. They were a bad defense last year, and should be improved. But I would actually expect a sharp drop in quarterback play, based on nothing more than the law of averages and my lack of faith in Michael Vick.

One thought I had was this: should the Eagles be more excited about their roster now than Vikings were before last season?

Talk is cheap. They look good on paper, but contracts are on paper, football is played on a field.

Find it funny people think the Cowboys and Giants are some how Superbowl bound but we aren't...Didn't we beat the cowboys last season?

Looking at our schedule, there's no one on there that we can't beat.

Of course, this is based upon last years results. We have yet to see what this years team even looks like as far as schemes and tendencies and such.
