    Yahoo! Sports Playoff Scenario Generator

    http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/playoffscenario;_ylt=Ama9KjYP0OqPPAxxYYwYnw5DubYF? algorithm=currentStandings

Played with this last year and thought it was ultra-cool. Hopefully, the Vikes can hang onto a first round bye, but it's fun to play around with different game outcomes and see how certain teams can make it or be eliminated. It can really highlight what the key games are. I went through and did what I thought the likely outcomes would be, and had the Eagles losing their games on the road to the Cowboys and Giants. As a result, the Eagles missed the playoffs entirely.

    Re:Yahoo! Sports Playoff Scenario Generator

A site I stumbled onto recently that I found interesting:

    http://www.playoffstatus.com/nfl/nfcstandings.html

For any team it shows the probability of winning various playoff spots based on the current standings and factoring in teams' relative strength for upcoming games. On the individual team pages, there are links for 'what if?' scenarios, most important games for the upcoming week, etc., that help depict how the different outcomes affect the probabilities pertaining to the playoff picture.

Playoffstatus.com also does similar analysis for other sports leagues, including college.

That Yahoo one is pretty cool. I now know what needs to happen to make the cowboys, packers, and patriots not make the playoffs. Awesome.

The other one i used is this one:
    http://www.sportsclubstats.com/NFL.html
It gives you math on how teams will and won't make the playoffs. Check it out for sure

There was one last year wher eyou could drag and drop teams into playoff brackets and it would sim the playoffs and give a aguess as to what teams would win when. I recall laughing as it told me that the Cards would make it to the superbowl

    A situation I would love.

NY, DAL, NE and PIT all miss the playoffs, we face GB in the first round.

This is all awesome but too complex for me to play with.

The numbers scream and shout one thing: It's time for us to settle into the #2 seed.

For some reason I like this. I think it is because the Bills win that division at 8-8
