WTF is up with the retirement music?

Sorry but imma rant a little, i usually dont do this

I dont know if anyone else noticed this, but when Favre retired, ESPN kept talking about it, and when they would do the intro to them they would basically play funeral music behind the video of the guy. And now they just did the same thing for Strahan, the guy retired from playing a pro sport, there is no need to act like the guy died, he didnt, he wont play football anymore, wooppee.

The whole thing is dumb, it kinda pisses me off how TV is making their retirements seem all sad, boo hoo imma cry, stfu, they are rich as shit, let them go, you have your own lives

That music was for Madden. A little bit of him died the day #4 punched out for the last time.

At least the rumors were that it smelled that way around him.
