Remember the 3 TD game he had against Cleveland?

The guy was pretty solid for us. I enjoyed him on our team.
I don't remember that at all actually.
I'll take your word for it though.

    Was that like 1980?
    :P
    No, but it was pre-KAO
    ;D
It was 2005 I'm pretty sure... I lived in Cleveland and was watching the game with a bunch of Cleveland fans.
Yup, he had 3 receptions for 32 yards and all 3 were TDs in the dome. The Vikes won 24-12.

I mean seriously, what the hell made him so great in everyones eyes?

B-wade had 54 receptions last year for 647 yards and 3 TDs.
You would think he would get as much love as this malcontent, injury prone, drunk driving has been.

    ;D
I don't remember him dropping many that came his way. He was not our #1 WR like Wade was last year. In 2004 the Vikes had Randy Moss and Nate Burleson. 2005 it was Nate Burleson, Koren Robinson, Travis Taylor, and Troy Williamson. 2006 it was Bethel Johnson, Travis Taylor, and Troy Williamson. The fact that he never really started and put up those numbers is the reason why I liked him. Pretty impressive IMHO. He missed 1 game in 2005 and 6 in 2006. That is not terrible. TJ missed 4 last year.

B-wade did it with a QB that couldn't get through his first progression because of a lack of inexperience and time (shitty protection) and on a team that ran the ball a heck of a lot.

    You know me.
I over analyze every player on every team and dwell on crap like this....He just wasn't that good and I really don't understand why everyone just dotes on the guy like he was something great.

Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

I thought you liked how our line protected last year? Were they not better than previous years? Hutch was a huge pickup.

Good point his first year he did have Daunte but the last year and half of the other was Brad Johnson. Not the greatest.

    2004: 387 Rushes vs. 380 Passes
    2005: 381 Rushes vs. 323 Passes
    2006: 442 Rushes vs. 332 Passes
    2007: 494 Rushes vs. 249 Passes

You are right on running the ball more. But we ran the ball almost as much Robinsons last year. His production went down but he still made 29 receptions for 381 yards and 4 TDs in a non-starting role. Not that far behind Bobby Wade and his 54 receptions for 647 yards and 3 TDs as a starter.

He was not great but he was productive for not being in a starting role. Interesting to see what kind of numbers Wade puts up this year not in the starting role.
