Would You Trade Ladainian Tomlinson?

As a Kansas State fan I can tell you that you know nothing about Sproles. A lot of people see his size and assume that he can't do this and he can't do that. The guy never gets a clean lick on him and I am positive he can be a full time back. He blocks wells and I believe he has better hands than LT ( could be from running the option all these years) He is comfortable catchign the ball on screens and runs hard. I belive he had to power thru Sanders and another Colts defender to score the go ahead TD.

back to the topic, I would trade LT and use one of the extra picks on a Top flight RB or LB from this draft. Imagine them adding USC's LB or OSU LB from this draft to that LB core. Taylor Mays is even an option.

Taylor Mays is always an option. I don't care who you have at safety.... except for Ed Reed, and even still that's just one safety spot on the roster.

As a Nebraska fan, I concur that Sproles is special.
However, he is not now, nor will he ever be, a full-time back as good as LT.
He is utilized very well and part of what makes him great is special teams contribution.
That said, LT isn't very special on the bench

Well ... yeah ... and neither one of them was traded ... they were both cut after bad years ... not years when they tallied 1500 yards and 12 TDs ... I mean Alexander was let go after a year of 896 yards and 716 yards and Holmes was hurt beyond repair ... so obviously, no comparision.

They would obviously do it for that kind of deal ... but those kinds of deals clearly do not exist anymore ... that was back before people really had a grasp of how valuable the draft was ... and Johnson ended up enlightening everyone.
And Herschel Walker was not close to LT.

No I meant the age factor

People have been sayin those 2 were great and totally fell of the earth.. And alot of people think Lt will fall under that

As an NFL fan I do know

I know who Darren Sproles is and my opinon won't change cuz u watched him in college

LT is a special player.. And still MUCH better then Sproles

Sproles has potential to be a very good back however
