I'm a firm believer, those video clips answer your question.
I've always said, Bo would have been one of, if not the, greatest RB's ever if he didn't get that hip flexor...
I'll never forget the game they hyped up when he faced Seattle with their very own upcoming young star LB....Bozworth....
I almost pissed my pants when Bo ran over him like he was nothing but a rag doll....
Bo was nothing but pure athlete, with incredible speed, strenght, toughness...ect....The Whole Package for sure..
I'de say YES, he could have been the Greatest Ever....
Bo knows football.
Bo was one hell of an athlete before that hip injury.. I think he could have been and would have been much better then Emmitt Smith was. Not saying anything bad about Smith, but Jackson was awesome..
If he wouldn't have gotten hurt he should have just stuck with football.
He was an awesome athlete. Best ever RB? We'll never know.
Poor Bo! I never got to see him, but from what I've seen/heard he could freakin' play. What a great athlete.
I saw Bo Jackson hit a homer in Fenway Park when he was playing for the KC Royals which was still going up when it hit a pole over the Green Monster. Put that in perspective - that was probably about 60 feet in the air at 350 feet from home plate. Just amazing.
Freak injury ruined his football career, but the best ever?
No way. That debate starts and ends with two players - Jim Brown and Walter Payton.
I think that was the first highlight video I've seen of a professional football player that DIDN'T have a highlight against the Vikes!
