    worst offseason?

of the following, who do you guys think had the worst offseason?

    Miami Dolphins
    SF 49'ers
    Green Bay Packers

    miami

    - mediocre draft at best
    - ricky retires
    - boston goes down with season ending injury
    - QB battle between *ahem* jay fiedler and aj feely

    san francisco

    - lost garcia
    - lost TO and got a scrub DT for compensation
    - lost hearst
    - lost a grip of linemen
    - peterson holds out

    green bay

    - mckenzie holds out
    - signed *ahem* tim couch
    - less than mediocre draft
    - horrible pre-season
    - releases tim couch after realizing how bad he sucks
    - all-star punter starts to [or continues to] suck[/b]

What an idiot. Has GB's offseason been great? No, but by no means terrible. McKenzie is holding out. Your right. But its ironic that while people on here say GB is doing the RIGHt thing by standing up to him, they then rip the Pack for their draft. GB drafted for need, as did the Vikings. The questionable pick, the punter, is still undetermined. To call it less than mediocre shows absolute ignorace. Calling their preseason horrible is also rediculous. NE had a horrible preseason as well, yet I doubt you would say they are going to have a bad season. Also, the Tim C. situation- Viking fans seem to care more about it than Packer fans. Rip all you want, but we are where we were before we signed him and lost nothing. No one thought hed be the second coming of Christ. It was an experiment. It didn't work. Kinda like your so called # 2 recieving star last year. I don't think I would call returning 20 of 22 starters from a team who went to the divisional round of the playoffs a bad offseason. Remember- we actually MADE the playoffs.

    worst offseason?

Nice post pepper. As much as we like to dislike the Packers and tease their fans, their offseason futility doesn't look nearly as bad as the other two. Miami was the one that was favored, and they've taken some huge strides backwards offensively... They have to hope their defense can keep them in contention. I think San Fran knew they weren't going anywhere anyway and will start the re-building process.

umm, you don't make the playoffs in the offseason, buddy.

speaking of ignorance, before goin off and callin people idiots, name me some teams that have had a worse offseason than the packers. and did i fucking say you guys had a "terrible" or "horrible" offseason, as you quoted me? no, i just asked who had the "worst."

    idiot.

    worst offseason?

I know it has been said many times before, but the only reason the packers made the playoffs is because of our loss.

So saying you are returning 20 of 22 starters doesn't mean ****

    worst offseason?

Reading through posts like this leads me to believe that Vikings fans are more excited about the "potential" bad season for the Packers than anything whatsoever to do with their own team.

San Fran no doubt about it. They lost their entire offense, not just Garcia and TO and some of the line but Tai Streets too who was a good #2 guy. They had a decent draft but they will still fall the farthest this year.

Miami and Green Bay weren't good but their losses won't hurt them quite as much as San Fran.

Ok, I'm a Vikings fan, but I just don't think that makes sense. I know many of you will disagree with me, but just think about it. If we would have lost one of the games that we won earlier in the season and beat the cardinals nobody would be saying that. What it boils down to is the Packers had more wins.
