Worst Draft Class NFL wide
So, i've been reading a lot lately how the 05 class is just NOT living up to ANY kinda of scale..
i was wondering if those of you out there that luv to scrounge up detailed stats and info can find out if.
1. Was 05 so far the worst of them all?
2. Which other years have been sooooo lousy as far as remaining players withen say a 5 year period.
3. how many of the 1st round 05'rs are still on the same team?

http://www.stampedeblue.com/2008/5/25/535374/the-2005-nfl-draft-more-prOf the 32 players taken in the first round, I count only 5 who I'd consider worthy of their first round selection. Braylon Edwards (pick #3) is one. Here are the rest:
Dallas DE DeMarcus Ware (pick #11)
Chargers DT Luis Castillo (pick #28)
Pittsburgh TE Heath Miller (pick # 30)
Indianapolis CB Marlin Jackson (pick #29)
I don't include Chargers LBer Shawne Merriman (pick #12) worthy of first round selection. Merriman is a cheater who unapologetically got caught using steroids. This taints everything in his career whether he or Chargers fans like it or not.

15.6%
worthy of the selection round..
so this raises another question. is this the results of taking the BPA, or researched players for positional/scheme based selections.

I would say
that Thomas Davis, Derrick Johnson, Aaron Rodgers, Jason Campbell, and Logan Mankins have panned out as well."I hate when threads are destroyed by facts and logic."

Re: Worst Draft Class NFL wide
Roddy White had a break out year last year.
Mike Patterson has been decent for the Eagles.
Mark Clayton looked good his sophomore campaign, but an ugly QB situation last year probably held him back more than anything else.
Ronnie Brown was abosolutely killing it last year before his knee injury.
I hope he can make it back.
Cadillac, i fear will end up worse after his injury.
