New Jersey cops are investigating a woman's claim that she was raped at the home of star Jets defensive back Kerry Rhodes after meeting him and another man at a Manhattan nightclub, The Post has learned.....

Interesting.

He's one of the most underrated players in the NFL.

He said in the article:
"I briefly talked with police on Saturday regarding an incident that allegedly took place at my home. The police confirmed to me that I am not the subject of this allegation."

We'll see how this one plays out.

Yes, this will be interesting as it goes forward. He is a good football player, and we all know those who can play get treated differently.

I'm just curious, if he's convicted of sexual assult instead of rape. Serves the average time of 2 years, making him 28-29yrs old. Do you think he should be allowed to play in the NFL when he gets out?

Seems like alot of people are willing to forgive Vick, because it's only dogs.

Dogs is one thing but rape is a whole new ballgame.

Really, I don't believe these women who accuse players of rape. They throw themselves at these guys and when things get going they scream rape and try to get money out of him. But obviously there are women who are actually raped and am not saying all women are liars or anything. In my opinion, if she wants money in the lawsuit or anything then I believe she is probably making it up but i don't know anything atm.

I realize rape is a different ball game, it's a class A felony with an average sentence of 10 years, doubt anyone could come back after even 5.

That's why I downgraded it, like a majority of rape allegations do, to sexual assult class b/c in most states, which has a average sentence of 2 years.
Thus, trying to keep the level of the crime close, just the nature being different.

Thus, I pose the question again should a NFL player found guilty of sexual assault be allowed back in the NFL?

Well you can kill a person & still play football ala Ravens' Ray Lewis if you just squeal like a pig.

Or you can rape a woman & still play football ala Packers' James Lofton.

Check to see what happened to other Packers' rapists, Eddie Lee Ivory, John Jefferson, Mossy Cade & Mark Chmura. I know Cade saw time in jail, but don't know if he ever played again.
