Re: Wiggins cuts by Jags
Seems Wiggy's hands are not what they used to be and his below average speed has gotten worse not allowing him to get open.

who cares? the leap he did was the coolest move ever! Not surprised.
Wiggy was not a well rounded TE.
I never liked the fact he always lept instead of digging in and driving.
Leaping over defenders can be dangerous.
Its just something that is not taught on that level or any other.

Re: Wiggins cuts by Jags
This is incomprehensible to me. Somebody will pick him up. I can't believe he went from hero to zero so quickly.
He's still better than Shiancoe until our new TE does something/anything in the NFL."I hate when threads are destroyed by facts and logic."

Re: Wiggins cuts by Jags
That is sad.
I always like wiggens .
I even liked the helicopter he did in the endzones when scoring touchdowns.

I think a lot of Wiggy's success had to do with the deep threat offense that Tice ran, opening up the box for him to take the short passes.
Very few offenses still operate that way, so he will have a hard time succeeding.
I like Wiggy, but I don't see him being better than Shank in our current system.Zeus wrote:

Re: Wiggins cuts by Jags
I always liked Wiggins and I'm sorry to hear that he was cut.
I'm sure he'll be picked up by another team in the near future.
In an interview on Sirius's "The Afternoon Blitz," Wiggins stated that the Raiders could be a possibility if they're still interested.
Wiggins said that Oakland was high on his list before signing with the Jags.
