Re: Who's on the hottest seat in the NFL?

    Thanks for the read Mars.

    9. With arguably the best offensive and defensive lines in all of football
At least the ZB scheme is working supporting the run but to think that we have the best OL in pass blocking is a bit lame.

It'll take just a few slip-ups in '08 before the boo birds come out to sing. The third-year man needs to deliver the goods
LOL, like a bunch of booing fans is gonna sway this staff into making a decision.
I still find it amazing that sports writers and fans really think they have any kindof say when it comes to decisions like this.

I do agree with most of the candidates they have on here with the exception of Lienart, Clemens and TJ.
Young QBs just don't get any love or time to develop in the "Win Now" "Instant Gratification" world we live in.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

Re: Who's on the hottest seat in the NFL?

I seem to remember BC & company taking alot of flak for drafting this kid where they did. They explained he was a developement project. He was going to sit on the side lines with the clipboard and chart plays and be mentored by BC & Brad johnson. He was the QB of the future,.......am I crazy or is that the way it was? Then he gets pressed into service waaaayyyyyyyyyyy to early, at the end of his rookie season,.......and handed the starting job after training camp in his second year on the job. This is what drives me absolutely crazy when I am constantly barraged by all the TJack haters everywhere. THIS ISN'T HOW IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The kid is learning to play in the NFL via OJT! I am well aware that I am an absolute homer when it comes to the vikes, but IMHO I think the kid has done a helluva job! If anyone should be criticized it would be the front office and coaching staff for not signing a viable veteran to teach Jackson HOW to be a successful NFL QB. So why are people surprised when he makes a glaring boneheaded mistake? (i.e. the mondaynight game against the skins)
There are other QB's that have been pressed into service, maybe too soon into their careers, but only time will tell us if the kid from Alabama State is more like Peyton Manning, or similar to David Carr. I am optimistic about TJack, but it is hard to gauge begause I am such a homer, but I believe in the moves we have made so far. Give the kid a break, this should be his best year yet, I can't wait for the season to start.
