Chris Kluwe.
Reggie White or LT.
The real LT.
It's obviously Mewelde Moore
;D ;D
Hershel Walker
i think its barry sanders.
He put up phenomenal numbers on a team that was full of bad players.
He also did it in an era that is more competitive and was faster.
Jim Brown would be a close number two but the players he had around him were hall of famers.
Name some of the lions that barry had.
Herman Moore, Scott Mitchell.
No contest.
He even made people look like little children out there with his moves.
That's a tough one...almost impossible to name one player. A gamebreaker, a dominant defensive guy?
If I owned a team and had the first draft pick of anyone who ever played the game, I'd pick Jack Lambert, for his heart, work ethic, leadership, longevity...that guy was a winner.
I don't now how fair it is to put Offense and Defense together, plus footbal has been aroun for a while.
Plus when you look at positions it hard to argue over who was the greatest , because each of them brought different things to their team. If I had to pick one player on Offense and only one I would say Walter Payton.
On Defense man that is hard but I would have to say Lawrence Taylor belongs in the argument

However, if we confine it ONLY to players you've actually seen play, I'd float names like Ronnie Lott, LT, Mike Singletary, Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Barry Sanders and end up with Sweetness.
So I go with Walter Payton.
=Z=
Man,
this has always been such a tough question for me to answer, but if you go to a place in Canton,Ohio,
you'll find a whole boat load of them there.... ;)
