Minnesota - $12.2 million (I thought we had more than this :.
Maybe that is a big reason why we haven't been so active in signing 2nd Tier players to 1rs Tier $$.
I would still like to see Carr/Green restructure their contracts for a lower rate but wouldn't mind seeing them spend some bucks on one of these two (Like Carr better) here.
Gives the Vikes some depth, buys some time for TJ to develop etc etc etc.)

My bet would be that we would be competing for Miami at this point for Carr/Green.
Endstate is we will get one of them on the roster.
    ;D
Well, this is also before the Vikings officially announced that we had about $30 Million to spend under the cap. So no, those numbers are wrong.
I know they are wrong or I wouldn't have aluded to it.

Wait for pick #7 to see if Quinn is available.
If not, try trading a 4th or 5th or combinations thereof for Carr.

Lets hope Quinn is gone so someone else can see how much of a bust he is. It doesn't matter if the Texans(or vikes) have tom brady, or Peyton Manning. With the line he had to play behind they would look bad as well.

OK, so here's a crazy idea.
So, let's say Quinn and Carr are gone, and I know that there are a few other veterans out there, but what about Quinn Gray, 3rd string QB for the Jags?
I believe he's a RFA, so just hypothetically, what about him?

I leave this outrageous idea with a few disclaimers.
I base this soley on the game I same him play against KC in the last game of the season, in which he was 13 for 22 (not great), but also ran it in for 2 TDs to bring the Jags back into the game.
I think he played in Europe before coming to the US...
I mean, if the Texans can pick up Shaub with his little experience, couldn't another team pick up Gray?

If this should be a new topic specific to stupid ideas, please feel free... :P

You panic when a pretty girl smiles at you, so this is not surprising.

How about we do what is actually going to happen?

Childress puts his future in the hands of Tarvaris.

He said on the radio today he is not a fan of Carrs mechanics and thinks he can't make all the throws......

If you promise to be smarter, I will promise to be nicer.

My posts are worth 6 of yours.

    Quinn is a bust, already?
Then why is he still listed as a top 10 pick on nearly all mock draft boards?

Using your 'logic', CJohnson is a bust too!
Jamarcus Russell; will be out of the NFL in 2 years, along with Joe Thomas, ....etc.

    :P

I know 1. Agent Hype, 2. attending the same school as a player, and 3. knowing a player attended a college in their state of residence are the main causes for NFL fans to fall in love with certain draft prospects.

But I'm not sure why people fall OUT of love with NFL draft prospects WITHOUT any substantial information that invalidates the consensus opinion of PROFESSIONAL talent scouts and sports writers.
When we stop to think about it, most folks behavior isn't perplexing after all !
