Who is the biggest ex-Viking free agent bust so far this year?

So, which of the big free agents we lost over the offseason has been the biggest bust so far for their new team?

Sidney Rice with his $42 mill?
Played 3 of 5 games so far.
62nd best receiver in the NFL

Ray Edwards with his $30 million?
12 Total tackles and 1 sack in 5 games

Tavaris Jackson and his $8 million?
1st QB snatched up in FA market
    18th rated QB in NFL
202+ ypg and 81 QB rating
Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.

Probably Rice, they just payed way too much for such a short track record of success & injuries. Also, he single handedly tanked the team last season.

T Jack - Play then Hurt
    Sid - Hurt then Play
Edwards - Play, he actually had a few sacks.

TJ and Rice had one good game. Oh well!

The joke might just be on us yet. While those players are under performing we did go out and give 5 million plus a pick to get McNabb and he has a lower rating than all of them.

I would take TJ in a minute over McNabb, Rice over Berrian but not Edwards over Robison so we are still down 2-3 on that and you have to factor in that McKinney is still way better than Johnson at LT.

Has to be Edwards with only 1 sack in 5 games. DEs get paid big bucks to sack the QB, nuff said.

Don't see TJack as a bust with Seattle yet...looked that way early, yet he's looked like an NFL QB in the last two. Likewise, Rice had a 100 yd game.

Was the net loss in free agency greater than the net gain?

McNabb better than TJ? No but not a great difference.

Jenkins better than Rice? Hard to say at this point. Jenkins seems to be the only positive in free agency so far, but better than Rice? Pretty much a wash since Jenkins has remained healthy and played each game.

Ayodele better than Pat Williams? Not even as good as Pat was last year from what I've seen.

Vikes don't seem to do that well in free agency. In fact, most teams don't. Look at the Eagles as an example.

I wouldn't compare the Eagles. They did fantastic in Free Agency, problem is, you can't buy a team. Football is a game where it's near impossible to take 11 probowlers off the street and win right away. If the Eagles could stay together for 3 years, I'm confident they would win one superbowl at least. Problem is, that will never happen.

We however, cut good players and sign bums.

TJ hasn't done too bad really, and to be fair he isn't that bad of a QB.

He's just not great. He's not a winner.
