Who are the biggest 1st round busts?

Someone mentioned David Boston getting released. I have him on a list of first round busts that I can think of others?

It depends what you consider "busts".
Some players are a complete bust for one team, but work out as they move on (Madarich had a few ok seasons with the colts).
Others have 1 good season (Boston) or have several average/below average seasons (Couch).
The real busts are the ones that you get zero return on ala Akili Smith, Charles Rogers, Ryan Leaf etc.

I guess I would say never panned out either at all or did very little with their career, maybe on Ok sesson but never anywhere near where they were expected to perform at.

Yatil Green, David Terrell, Curtis Enis all were pretty bad. The worst ever was probably Underwood and Leaf

Ahmad Carrol so far.

Was'nt Laurence Phillips a first round pick?

We didnt draft Alexander but hmmmm. definatley Curtis Enis, Cade McNown, Akili Smith, there are sooo many that you cant name em all

yatil green, john avery (dolphins rb, they passed up on moss to take this guy), jamar fletcher, ryan leaf, derrick alexander, underwood, couch, travis taylor could think of a few more but im at work..

I think Ryan Leaf is the biggst bust in NFL history. And always will be.
