That is his agent saying this does not mean the NFL has said this, he could be banned forever if he had failed another drug test.

I have read a couple of rumors that he had failed at least one teat during his last year suspension. Does anyone know anything about this? If he did, would not the ban be in effect already?

Isn't October over a year suspension? I guess if he failed yet another test while he was suspended that would make sense.

What makes me laugh about idiots like Smith is that most of us pray for a million dollar lottery ticket or just being well off in general.

I do understand we all go through trials and tribulations but I would not mess up an opportunity to play in the NFL, retire when I'm 35 and sit back and start my own business with the money I had made in the NFL. Now I'm not saying that is the common situation in the NFL but Smith had enough talent to be in the NFL and get himself some nice paychecks in the process.

I don't know I guess I just don't understand.
