No real good answers.

Less competition.

Less expectation and less efficient.
If you are a talented midwesterner, you would be better off playing in a large city.


Less risk also because of the competion factor.

This article from Time for India (actually I saw a similar article back in the 70's on the same subject) show we can really zero in here:

What it boils down to is....people are people.
You can find nice guys and a**holes regardless of skin color.

I don't understand the people that say 'this seeing race thing needs to go away.' Seeing people as a different race isn't wrong, treating people differently because of race is.

Pretty soon people will legitimately declare they don't see race, like Stephen Colbert
