Thread: Where will Culpepper play in 2008?

First of all, on a personal note, I hate Duante Culpepper.
I feel he let us down when Chilly arrived in Minnesota.
From what I read, the jerk wanted a huge contract after being on IR for the whole year.
In other words, he wanted out of the Vikings organization. I also remember the Randy Moss trade that in my opinion was supposed to make Peppy the leader of the team.
What a costly mistake that had really made setbacks to the whole Vikings franchise. >


I heard earlier in the week on NFL Access that guest Nate Burleson said he could not believe that former 2004 NFL MVP runnerup did not have a job yet.
But how could Nate B. think that Peppy is not a "ME ME" type of player? He has fumble-itis and a knack for being overconfident, underachieving his goals. AND to be injury free!


So my question is where do you think Culpepper will be in 2008? My bold guess is that the Patriots will sign him for a one year deal.
The Pats have a knack for picking up veterans with something to prove that want to be on an elite team.
Plus I hate the Pats so I hope they get the jerk. LOL

Nah for real, i think he's going to the Chiefs

Since the injury he's been a busted flush IMO, losing the mobility has just made all his weaknesses more apparent, wherever he ends up it will be as a bench warmer his days as a starter look to be over. Maybe he could go to the Jags, Tice is there and it's close to home for him.
