    Re: Where will Culpepper go?

I think he is going to New England and will beat out Brady for the starting job and will be reconnecting with moss once again.

If not that, he'll go to Indy and win the starting job over payton. I am sure of it.

And for all the grumbling peeps did about childress dropping culpecker, it's funny how that worked out hey?
    Now who's the dumbass?
    Not chilly, not IMO.
Umm, tell me that story again ... specifically the part about the Vikings being so well off at QB.
You mean the story about how Culpepper whined his way out of Minny?
No when Culpepper was traded because chilly wanted him to rehab in Minny.
LOL great rehab program Pep. Was that before or after Pep asked for a $10M raise?

(i can feel it starting to smolder)
    :-*
After. Guys ask for more money all the time but it wasn't like he held out or did anything to jeapordize the team other than a couple of E-mails but that is after Chilly had all ready call him out for not rehabing in Minny.

    [/quote]

And for refusing to come to Minnesota to meat with Childress (you know, his new head coach).
And for refusing to come to Minnesota to meet with the team doctors (they had to go down to Florida).

Childress had every right to call him out for not rehabbing in Minneapolis.
Maybe had he rehabbed the way our team physicians wanted him to instead of in a Walmart strip mall, he would still be a starter...

He did not violoate his contract. Was he a model employee, no. Maybe we should let Windfield go for not showing up to practice. At least Culpepper had an excuse, one of the worst knee injuries ever.

Who gives a fuck where he rehabilitated? That was just Childress flexing his muscles.

I'm sure a lot of players not only have rehabilitated elsewhere, but they also do their offseason conditioning elsewhere as well to be closer to family.

The rehab part of it was a trivial point IMO. Had it been during the season, things would be different, but this happened before the mini camps & OTA's.

    Where did Erasmus James rehabilitate?

    Where did Chad Greenway rehabilitate?

    Where did Tank Williams rehabilitate?

I think people are making a mountain out of a mole hill over the rehab issue, just like they did over the playbook that as it turned out he never had.

What did it for me was his arrogance & his attitude. It wasn't even so much about the money. It was the way he went about it. He was screwed on his contract by his agent & was after the money Wilf promised him they would discuss at the end of the season. The injury changed that.

    Wilf +1.

Move on and get over it.

He won't be coming, QBs rarely return to an ousted team.

Good thing you put "rarely" in there. Both Fran Tarkenton & Brad Johnson did.

I think he'll end up selling mattresses on the coner across from the prison he was born in.

Dolphins quarterback Daunte Culpepper is ready for a battle. And at least for the short term, Miami might just be prepared to give him a shot.
