Hmmmm.....

That would be awesome, but doubt it would even be talked about.. I mean, we have Robert Ferguson for Christ sake, why would we need Houshmanzadeh for?
Sad thing is thats probably what goes through some people's minds here.
We don't need Housmazadah because we have Taylor and Peterson and we are a run first offense to begin with. Add the fact that we have Berrian who the Vikings feel will excel and turn into a superstar with our running game leaving him with many opportunities down the field. Also Rice has amazing potential. And Wade, Allison, and Ferguson all will do their jobs solid, I believe.

Just a feeling, but I think Berrian/Rice will be an awesome combo.

I really think after next season a huge topic of discussion will be the fact that we can't run enough plays to include Taylor/Peterson/Berrian/Rice all involved enough. We may have a surplus of talent at the skill positions.
we only became a run first offense because we had 2 great running backs and shit for WR and QB. Look back at the posts about the KAO before AD and you will see that people were classifying it as a 60% pass/ 40% run offense. With the right QB,Line and WR we could certainly be at the 50/50 mark, which would be ideal.
I think they are calling the percentage of rushes the Adrian Ratio or something.

Sources: Skins offer '08 first-rounder, '09 pick for Johnson; Cincy says no

How serious are the Cincinnati Bengals about not giving in to Chad Johnson's trade demands?

Serious enough to swat away an offer from the Washington Redskins that could have netted the Bengals two first round draft picks, team and league sources said.

Close, it's actually the "Peterson Proportion"

I think it will be along the lines of what V4L said, except he won't play.
He'll sit out for a good portion of the season.

He could also pull a Seau, and retire breifly only to sign as a FA with another team

If cincy wasn't willing to take 2 first round picks as compensation for Johnson, it doesn't sound like he's going anywhere.

Cincy would still hold his rights, ala jake plummer.
