As I keep reading football web sites and looking at "experts" picks for the games on Sunday I was struck by the thought "What is an "Expert."
I guess it means you only get about 1/2 the games right which a monkey could do, and your pre-game analysis are usually dead wrong.
My dad always said an "EXPERT" was this:
An "EX" is a has been -- and a "Spurt" is a big drip under pressure!
somebody who gets paid to make predictions like they actually know exactly what the outcome of the game is going to be. technically anybody could do what those yahoos do, and have a good chance of having the same sucess the "experts" do. just look at our football poll we have high winning % on there :lol:
I do agree that the 'experts' on espn or other sites are just fans that predict games. nfl games are so hard to predict however. there is just way too much parity
the so called 'experts' are those guys that sit around and talk about football all day long. most of them have never stepped on the field.
