What Team To LA?
I know that a possible Vikings move to LA has been discussed here many times before but here is some discussion about "other teams" from Judd Zulgad in the Star/Tribune blogs.
http://blogs.startribune.com/vikingsblog/?p=1856
Interesting story out of Los Angeles today in which billionaire developer Ed Roski Jr.’s business partner says he has “no doubt†an NFL team will be playing in Los Angeles in 2009 and that the most likely venue to begin with would be the Rose Bowl.
Obviously, that team is not going to be the Vikings given their lease at the Metrodome runs through the 2011 season. But Majestic Realty vice president John Semcken added that he believes two NFL teams eventually could end up playing in the $800 million stadium that Roski wants to build.
Here's the
link to the California newspaper link that Zulgad notes in the article:

Re: What Team To LA?
Do Mexicans watch U.S. football ?
:
I thought they were all over watching soccer and David Beckham.
How about this for a team: Manchester United.
:P
But seriously: Saints or Colts.

The Vikings aren't going anywhere.
Book it.
Probables:
Jacksonville - small market, can't sell out.
San Diego: - want a new stadium and probably aren't getting one.
Oakland: - why not set up a system where they switch cities in 5 or 10-year intervals, it just might work.
New Orleans - the least likely of these four, the Superdome was recently renovated, and fan support has been greatly inmproved.Proud member of PP.O since April 5th, 2003!

Re: What Team To LA?
i think it could be jacksonville but it could
also be any of the 3 California teams all three want new staduims and with the cali state budget not having any dough a privately funded stadium could lure a team to LA lets just hope it doesn't get to be like baseball and we get the los angeles raiders of oakland that would be insipid

That way they could move around whenever they wanted to.
The Angels should have stayed the California Angels too.

Interesting reply to CA connection from the Vikes:

Lester Bagley, the Vikings’ vice president of public affairs and stadium development, said this evening that the Roski group has approached the Vikings in the past few months but owner Zygi Wilf declined to meet.
“They have knocked on our door but we have declined,†Bagley said. “We have not had a meeting or discussion with Roski...Kentucky Vikes Fan
