easy, they morphed into the " Troy Williamson is a god " group. Unfortunately due to the 'hands of stone' effect they were last seen going round and round the pan before vanishing through the U bend and out into the wide world... same as TW :woohoo:
Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

The HOF balloting has become a joke. I guess they aspire to be more like baseball. The number two sport in this country. No reason CC wasn't in on the first. There can be no plausible argument why Randy shouldn't be in at his first opportunity.
Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.

I think quite a few of them have managed to avoid the ":end of the world" and are now supporting Tarvaris Jackson as a legitimate starter...

As for Moss - Voters were criticized sharply for NOT allowing Irvin in despite his HUGE character issues. As a result, Micheal Irvin is a HOF'er and Art Monk had to wait until 2008.

Based solely upon what he has DONE, Randy is a first ballot guy.

The vast majority of Randy's episodes have occurred when the teams around him have fallen apart.

In Minnesota, it was Red *goat poker* McCombs refusal to spend money that lead to us having no defense...Randy spoke up against it, and was traded to Oakland.

In Oakland, the entire team imploded...Randy simply looked for an exit - like everyone else did.

In New England, Randy is part of a winning franchise - something he's always wanted. There is no "Randy Ratio", there is no prima-donna treatment, Randy is simply a part of a team where everyone gives their all...and so does he. Quietly.

But I do agree with IBP that a ring would make the journey easier.

I would put Randy in 1st ballot. If a turd like Irvin can get in at all, Randy deserves to be there.

Nice post there Caine except for the little Jackson remark

Randy will be a first ballot if he plays a few more years

    He will get in regardless

I totally agree that the voting is flawed and that CC should have been in as a first ballot guy. The issue is that 1)Jerry Rice was not yet in the Hall and had no off field issues, 2) Cris was #2 in virtually every receiving category but had some off field issues from early in his career. IMHO these are the reasons why he wasnt in on the first go-round.

I think Randy will be a HOF'er but definitely not a first ballot guy.
