    Marrdro's comment follows:
I was trying to find an article I read on players and thier routines (for Schutz) and came across these instead. Not exactly what I remember but I think it shows my point.
    I will keep looking Schutz.
Might have been in one of the books.

If it is such a big issue to go east you could always just keep going west till you reach the destination. Dumbasses.

The teams that have to travel always struggle. I believe the Chargers have the most amount of miles travelled this year. When was the last time a team from the west coast made the superbowl? 49ers would be my guess.

    Do the Cardinals count?
Before them the Seahawks and before that the Raiders.

My tendency is to think there is definitely something to the travel thing.
With everything these guys do keep their bodies at 100%, even a little bit of jet lag and an unusual schedule could make an impact.
Particularly if they're playing in an early game at 10 AM PST.
Probably have to be at the stadium at, what, 7 AM their time?

When the age of the Vikings came to a close, they must have sensed it. Probably, they gathered together one evening, slapped each other on the back and said, "Hey, good job." - Jack Handey [Deep Thoughts]

Simple then - make the entire US have the same time zone then no-one will bout out of their time zone
;D ;D Then guess someone will then complain about the miles travelled - sounds like a good excuse to maybe re-align the divisions so that travelling is reduced or evened out - maybe thats a bit too eco-friendly for some people.

    Final solution - stop
making excuses for players not motivating themselves enough for games. This scenario has been happening for years and no-one has worried about it before. Still gives an excuse for the west coast times sucking and something else for senile Al to add to his list of why his Raiders are dire.
