Were we better off getting Rice than Meachem?

Looks like it this early in the game!

    Very possibly. . .
but we made a big mistake in not drafting either of the USC wideouts Steve Smith or Dwayne Jarrett over Rice.
Both are more proven in a more conventional pro-style offense.
Rice was a product of Spurrier ball although he succeeded with lesser QB's. . .
I guess the debate is up in the air now and we should all check back on this debate in a few years but Jarrett and Smith were studs at USC.
As the USC Songirls would say, "Fight On. "

wow he will miss 3-4, then I say yes we are better off getting Rice. I say so because we cannot afford to go 4 weeks without a playmaker WR, its already bad as it is. Well not going to say bad but unknown.

    Too early to tell.
That question is best answered in 3-4 years from now.

    You got that right.

I am happy with the pick. In a few years he has a chance to be successful but I don't expect a whole lot from him right out of the gate.
