TJ's one of mine..... he suffered a compound fracture to his fibula... Had to have surgery on it today.
Sorry to hear about that...you know that I was just teasing! I know that he probably has to work even harder than others just because of possible accusations of nepotism and such...plus it must be kinda embarrasing for him to have his dad to walk into the locker room every day and see him butt naked! ops:

Ted: "Dang son, you must have gotten THAT from your MOM'S side of the family!"

 Yeah I know you were joking. Being the coaches son didn't help him last year when the Vikes cut him on August 8th. It's been a rough past 5 months for TJ. First the shyt in Europe and now this. Painful injury, and a tough break for anyone trying to make a team.

    Re: Waiver wire prospects

Hey Jackyl, did you see where the Bengals just cut Marcus Johnson's brother? Maybe you can sign him up and do some lobbying for the Vikes to practice squad him...he could eventually be a replacement for Rosey at RT a few years down the line...you know that he is used to playing next to his brother and they would probably push each other to be better.

BTW, there is precedent for this kind of nepotism...look at the Vikes keeping Campbell on board (he is Daunte's cousin) and in Moss's first year the Vikes signed his brother to be a reserve lineman for a year.

    Just a thought.

Wouldn't be suprised to see him end up here.... Burley was Daunte's teammate in college... Bamiro went to the same HS as Tice... TJ/Ted Cottrell... seems to be a theme with this team for sure.

doesn't look like any good punters. weren't we looking at the punter for NC Panthers. like Tod Sauerbaun or something like that. anybody know what ended up happening with that?

    Thanks Josdin

    Re: Waiver wire prospects

thanks for the information, i didn't really follow a lot of football transactions offseason, except for the ones involving the vikings. we should have tried to get him, we might be paying for it later on.

    Thanks Josdin
