Waiver wire prospects
It looks like the Ravens gave up on kicker Rhys Lloyd...should the Vikings negotiate an injury settlement with Elling and bring in Lloyd to compete with Edinger next week...I know that some here were pretty high on Lloyd.
Also noticed that Denny tucked away Billy Conaty on IR...I know that some here would have preferred to see him start here (in place of Birk) over Withrow.
Any other intriguing prospects that you guys see on the waiver wire?

Re: Waiver wire prospects
Darnerian McCants?! why would the redskins release him..he was fairly productive under steve spurrier..he would definitnely be of help as our 5th receiver..or even just create more of a competition for the 3rd or 4th spots
People who see life as anything more than pure entertainment are missing the point.

Re: Waiver wire prospects
Jeff Chandler???? for K
He did well when he played in a dome before. I honestly don't know how he has been doing this preseason. Someone fill me in.
You knew he would be getting the axe in Wash with Hall in Camp.
We should have went after Brien when the Jets released him back when signing Nuge.

Why? Edinger is a better kicker then Brien. He was even outplaying Brien when they were both in Bears camp. We got a good kicker and no one but me seems to realize it.
No more kickers or WR's. Look for center's, because that is what we need. Maybe a FS too, with Fox being put on IR, and that would allow us to use kenny irvin at CB if needed.
And look for a kick returner, because Howry sucks bad!

Re: Waiver wire prospects
i like edinger as our kicker...for the first time in a while we have a true veteran kicker that i don't have to worry about.
we need a center and any other decent Oline pick-up.
