And MacMahon's colleague, Calvin Watkins, uses Phillips' "it takes about four years" logic as an opportunity to predict the future:
Based on what Phillips said, Mike Tomlin must be going to the Hall of Fame with George Halas because he won a Super Bowl in only his second season.

Funny how people use Tomlin as the example of success.
Didn't he inherit a damn good team?
I would use someone like ole Mike down in Atlant or even Tony in Miami before I would Mike in Pitt.

Those two cats and thier FO's did a hell of a job of making something out of crap.

As much as I like Tomlin, I agree with you. I think Sporano was also very successful because of a guy named Parcells. Regardless though, they did a hell of a job with that team.

Like I said before IMO if Chilly can't win the division or win a playoff game, he is done. Fans will get ugly. That is the laqst thing you need when trying to build a stadium.

Never said it would. All I am saying is that pissed off fans do not buy tickets. They sit at home a watch for free.

OK.
I took the comment (in red) as a end result of 2009-2010 season.
My guess is Zygi will have made a commitment someplace else if a deal isn't done before the end of this season.

At that point, it won't matter who is the HC of the team as the new location will be so damn glad to have a team the HC won't matter.
