Re: Vote for Hutch: NFL's 10 toughest.
defintily bryon leftwitch. he played with a broken leg and had to be carried by his linemen to the line of scrimage. i have no idea if you can vote for him or not but he is definitly the toughest.

Re: Vote for Hutch: NFL's 10 toughest.
i would vote for leftwich for sure. that crazy act he did in college being carried around makes him insane. some of the shots he takes. wow.
i think leftwich has replaced mcnair as the toughest guy in the nfl. when mcnair was in primetime as a titan. that was impressiveWe're bringing purple back.

Re: Vote for Hutch: NFL's 10 toughest.
NO SURPRISE MY FAVORITE PLAYER, HINES WARD IS ON THAT LIST!

Oh no. Here he goes again.
I want someone to honestly tell me what makes him so tough, I don't think a dude who CRIES :'( in every other interview deserves to be on the 10 toughest list. Read the comments about each player and tell me they didn't put him on that list just because everyone loves him so much, Theismann's comments about everyone else is either, "He's a tough SOB"- Hutch.
"..Hits like a heat seaking missile"-Taylor.
"Afraid to take a hit from him"- Al Wilson
"You don't want to upset him on the field"- Ray Lewis.
"Plays through pain and injury"-McNabb and McNair.
Hines Ward's comment "He will do whatever it takes to win. That could be blocking downfield, playing a decoy, catching touchdowns, or selling popcorn.
Man, that really describes what I think of when it comes to a tough guy. EVERYONE on this list and virtually everyone in the NFL plays to win, but he is the only one praised for it. "He gives 110% every play" So does the NFL's arch nemesis Terrell Owens.(and in case you did not know, TO can block too, quite well actually, he catches more touchdowns, played on a broken leg,
and is one hell of a decoy when he doesn't get the ball, and I bet he could sell more popcorn, but he's not on this list because everyone hates him.)
So what if Ward blocks downfield, guess what?! He's bigger than most defensive backs, how about 5'10 220 pound running backs who have to stand their ground in the backfield and block a 6'5 300 pound defensive lineman, or a 6'3 250 pound linebacker running at them full speed. So what if a 6'1 210 pound wide reciever can block a 5'10 210 pound defensive back, what makes that tough. If he is such a great blocker and that makes him so tough, convert him to a position he belongs at, if you are truly that talented of a blocker, wouldn't you put on some weight and become a Fullback, or a tight end, and block some other "tough guys".

Yep, looking real tough in that pic too.
:'( :'( :'(
If you honestly think he belongs on this list of the toughest players in the league I'm going to let you know right now, I think you're out of your mind. I'm sick of people buying into this horseshit about him being so great, so tough, a great reciever, a great blocker, such a great guy on and off the field, it is total BS and everyone knows it, but for some reason they all love the guy and are totally unwilling to admit it. I know I've made this argument many times in the past, but honestly he's not so great, if you look past the media fluff and at the player/man himself you'll see he's not so great.
Put him up against anyone on that list, anywhere, whether it's on the field or in a bar, on the street, or even in a ring, and we'll see who's tough.
P.S: I did the vote and he was 10th and you should all do the same, but I did vote him #5 on the leaders list, here's my ballot.
1: Taylor
2: Lewis
3: Hutch
4: McNair
5: Polamalu
6: Wilson
7: Urlacher
8: Shields
9: McNabb
10: Ward

He and his team stole what I was grooming to be a big Vikings fan, my brother which I did not mention,
And as I explained, so if you actually read the post you would see that the other reason I dislike him so much is for how ridiculously overpraised he is as a wide reciever.

Why are McCrabb and Ward on that list?
That is a joke. What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Thankyou!
I think that is the first time any has ever agreed with me on anything about Hines Ward.

I agree with several of those options. Although I despise TO, the fact that he played in a Super Bowl after breaking his leg mere weeks earlier impressed me. Its one thing if he just had a couple of snaps, but the dude produced with an impressive showing. I still don't like TO off the field, but on the field, you cannot deny his toughness.

I found this list earlier this morning. My list went 1. Hutchinson 2. Ray Lewis 3. Urlacher. If I weren't bias, Hutchinson would be around 5 or 6
