What a crybaby quitter. I didn't like Vince Young at Texas... thought he might grow up a bit in the pros... hahaha, guess not.

He's not really that talented of a QB, he's got legs to make plays, but his arm isn't anything better than T-Jacks.

The spotlight wasn't on him for winning anymore, like it was at Texas... so he thinks about quitting? All the respect I had for Young (and it was very little anyways) is all out the door now.
How is he a quitter? Because he considered quitting? How does this make him a cry baby? Because he mentioned his feelings when asked about them in one of the thousands of interviews he's done(a year after the fact).
The guy has been overrated(I still can't believe he made the pro-bowl) but let's not forget that he has only been in the league for 2 years, same as tjack. So everyone who thinks Tjack deserves more time to prove what he can do should give V Young the same courtesy. I think Young still has a chance to have a very impressive career. He might be the only guy in the league with worse recievers than Tjack(not to mention running backs, o-line, and defense).
Lendel and Chris Henry didnt do too bad last year, and they drafted Chris Johnson
Their Oline is very underated, with Mawae and Roos
Their D randomly showed up last year, was like 6th in the league or something

But his WRs do suck, and so does he
Their backs were decent, but not as good as the vikings.
Their Oline might be underrated but I doubt they are as good as the vikings.
Their D is close to the vikings but I would say the vikings are still better. Arguable(I like to rate defense on Pts allowed/pts scored/turnovers forced, never yardage as it seems less important.
Their WRs do suck. Vince Young may or may not suck, I would still take him over Tjack who also may or may not suck.
Most on here now know that Vince Young was highly overrated last year, but that doesn't mean he sucks, in reality his progress has been pretty close to Tjack who has been underrated.
9 TDs 17 INTs = SUCKS
Sucks WORSE than 9 and 12, that's for sure!
LOL
He also posted 62.3% completion percentage(tjack 58.2). He threw for 600 more yards than Tjack, ran for 100 more. He also lead his team to the playoffs winning 3 in a row to end the season(how did tjack fair in those must win games?).
Youngs numbers(like Tjack) improved as the season went on posting 99.9 QB rating in 3 of the last 5 regular season games.
My point is not that Vince Young is better than Tjack just that neither has proved they are good or suck but that they are young and improving. Of course dollar for dollar tjack is the better value but that is a silly way to compare QBs.
Didn't he also play in more games?
Fact is, Vincy SUCKS for what he was expected to provide....money or no money!
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Lol ... every god damn thread. Seriously everyone. I am surprised the Congratz threads don't turn into T-Jack arguments.

Very nice post my friend.
I just moved you up a column on the ole spreadsheet.
;D
I wonder if WV3030 truly understands how significant that is.

'Course, you're not really cool until you have your own TAB on the spreadsheet, like me.

Of course when backing jackson the stat used most is that he was 8-4 last year and that is the stat that apparently matters, so the win percentage and the playoff appearance by VY surely must trump that.

Not when you're a hater.
Vince Young will always be crticized for his non-conformance to the pocket QB, his stats will never look like Peyton's or Favre's.
Even if they go 19-0, if VY's stats are shitty, then it was the rest of the team that made the difference.

He earned ROY honors as he did have the most impact for his team's success of any rookie that year.
Pro-bowl, not so sure, speaks to the lack of great QB's in the league as much as anything.
Is he a winner, absolutely.
I've doubted this guy throughout his whole career at UT when I had season tickets and watched him develop.
He kept proving me wrong, he is a great athlete, but most of all he has a desire to win like no other and usually finds a way to come up big when it matters most.
What I see as a bigger issue mentally with him is that he is used to winning, by taking the game in his own hands and ensuring victory.
He can't do it by himself in the NFL and he will have to get used to losing if he doesn't get a better supporting cast.

VY had as much to do with the Titans making the playoffs as TJ had to do with us not making them.
TJ hopefully will become the better long term QB, but so far, VY has had more impact on his team's success.
Which QB from his class has had as much impact on their team's success?
Also, remember that Vince came in the league after his junior year.
One less year to develop through college than most QB's.

Yes, he gets a ton of publicity and the NFL tries to position players as saviors for the human race, but that doesn't mean he sucks.
Overrated, yea I can buy into that.

hating resume.....
