Re: Vikings' secondary has talent, talks a good game but . . .

what type of injury did Fox have during training camp?

i know he's on the IR but i heard it wasn't that serious of an injury and he could have come back in the middle of the season.

    Thanks Josdin

Chavous makes so many plays and yet he is still hated by some it is crazy. NEVER has had a season with the Vikings with less then 80+ tackles.

In the bears game he was about the only guy to make a play. Fumble recovery, interception, two BIG tackles on the goal line........

Everybody has to have a player to hate on though. If he was allowed to roam like he was before Ted came he would be in the probowl again. None of our players in the defensive backfield will be in the pro-bowl as long as Ted is in the house.
That doesn't make any sense, i KNOW if offord started the year that he could surcum 80 tackles playing Saftey. In this case its hard to say he's good because he can tackle, he blows to many plays and rarley makes a INT. I hope willie comes back strong for next year.

Chavous MISSES WAY TOO MANY TACKLES, isn't very athletic and can't hit very well. I think when Willie comes back next year, he will BE OUR STUD! He is big, fast and a good hitter, kind of like a poor mans Roy Williams. He DEFINITLEY is our weak link. I think Nick Collins, Mike Brown and Kenoy Kennedy are all better Strong Safetys.

i'll agree that Chavous isn't the biggest hitter but you're acting like he's the worst safety we've ever had dude.

He had a fractured bone in his left arm & was supposed to be out 4-6 weeks. That time has come & passed already.

I remember when we got Chavous from Arizona,,,,,and my buddy at work back then , was a serious Cardinals Fan..

He was so sad to see Cory go, and I'll say this, back then didn't really realize who we where getting, But I'll say we got the real deal..

Cory is a fine player and a guru of the game.....
