Maybe we were pimping ryan sims, but we didn't like him, 3 years back. :grin: I know that wasn't the case, but it actually happened for the best that year, cause sims sucks. We got kevin williams, by hiding what we really wanted, the next year.
I think it is absolutely obvious what we want this year though, so it is hard to mask it. That is why we realize we have no choice but to trade up, to ensure we get our guy.
Our strategy is get mike williams and nugent, whatever it takes.

No, they are completely different receivers. Keyshawn was never a deep threat receiver. He has always been a possession guy. Mike is taller, stronger, uses his body better to ward off receivers, has better hands, and is much much better at going up and getting the football when it is in the air. Mike is a deep threat receiver and a possession guy.
The only similarities I see is that they both went to USC, are taller, and aren't that fastest receivers. TO is also a bigger receiver, that isn't fast, yet for some reason mike williams is never compared to him, always keyshawn. I don't get that.
If you have watched both keyshawn and mike williams play at USC, you would see they are totally different types of receivers, entering the NFL.
Did Keyshawn only play 2 college seasons too? Williams' inexperience is a huge worry to me. There are many very, very talented college-level players who are busts in the NFL because they can't make the transition. With only 2 years of College football, and a year with no football at all, couple with some minor questions about work ethic and team-player menality. I think Williams is a pretty big Risk on draft day. I wouldn't draft him top-5 and if he is taken that early, well, thats all the better for us because then there would be a much better chance at Edwards being there at #7.
what about a trade with the browns, to make sure we can get williams?

I couldn't be any happier about this offseason if we got those three.
I think we should trade up deffinitly...and maybe losing brian russel isnt a good idea..at least get some compensation...yes, pic Mike Williams, and how bout maybe signing Jamie Sharper...not a bad MLB...
