Brad Johnson you can go out in style man. Three games and then a couple more then you can rest comfortably for the rest of your life.

Come on, pull your head out of your ass and make it happen. It's the NFC, get us there and let our D destroy the big dogs!

It's absolutely doable to win out with our schedule. But it might prove more dificult than it looked early on.

I don't see any of the final games as easy. It's never easy to play GB away in december, and the Jets has become a much better team this year than I expected them to be.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

There is no reason to think we can't make a run. The second best rush defense in the HISTORY on the NFL, and a solid running game.

All we need is Brad Johnson to stop turning the ball over, that alone will get us to the playoffs. If we can stop turning the ball over AND cut the offensive penalties down we can make a run.

I'm not saying anyone even needs to become better as far as physical play goes, all that needs to happen is we need to cut the mistakes out.

And the exciting thing is we have been over the last 4 weeks. It seems to slowly be coming together. If we can start playing good football right now and things start clicking there is no telling what could happen.

Take it one week at a time and just concentrate on the 60 mins of football as it comes. If we treat it like that then anything is possible, all we need is the O to get points on the board and we know the D will hold up their end of the bargain.

It is realistic to be optimistic.
The running game has been improving, the run D is incredible, they are at the top of the league in TOP.
If they improve in penalties, guard the ball, and/or execution the games can be won.
The only game that was a blowout was against the Patriots and the Dolphins, who have a very similar defense, shut them out yesterday.
    It is possible.
I will stay optimistic for the season until they are done.

Some call it drinking the purple kool-aid or wearing the purple shades.
Personally, I think the perpetual naysayers are more unrealistic based on their arguments for justifying a sinking ship.
    A long shot?
    Yes.
It's a long shot for anyone to win the SB and it's all about who plays ball and gets an attitude from here on out.
    Possible.

I would hate to play the Aints in the Playoffs, Seeing what Brady did to us passing, I would hate to see what Brees would do. It would be tough to stop Duece and Bush rushing the ball. We just need to make it, and then we will worry about guys like that!!
I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it!!

I think that it is quite possible we can make a run. I even think that 8-8 (provided both wins are against NFC opponents the Rams and Packers) we could still get in ... but we need to focus on the Jets this week and then turn our sites to the Packers ... the season is not over ... and if we sneak in to the weak NFC picture ... who knows what can happen.
