Vikes @ Lions Might Be Blacked Out

For the first time since the Lions began playing in Ford Field in 2002, a home game could be blacked out on local television. There are still 3,500 tickets remaining for Sunday's game with the Minnesota Vikings and if it's not sold out 72 hours prior to kickoff -- 4:05 p.m. Thursday -- the game will be blacked out.

It's possible the Lions might get a 24-hour extension by the league, moving the deadline to 4:05 p.m. Friday.

Guess we arent the only ones having trouble selling tickets...but they have millen!im surprised they sold out as many as they did

Sweet, they play a late game, it might be on tv here! But I doubt it.

Speaking of that why is this game at 4:05? We almost always play at 1:00 unless its a monday nighter

Good question. Coming into the year I think we were a couple of the worst ranked teams

Makes you wonder what Lions fans want. They have the top rated WR in this years draft and are coming off a winning start to the season ..
So at least we were not alone in having trouble shifting tickets

No, it is on FOX. The late game is played on CBS in this market.
Only can be watched on Sunday ticket.
Guess I will be at the bar. Where in WI do you live?

Just gotta do what I always do, head up to Austin and the Warehouse saloon and watch the game with 20-30 other Viking fans. Nice bunch and most have been coming to watch the Vikings for years now. We always get the big screen as we outnumber even the cowpaddie fans there.
