The anticipation and speculation can stop. Roger Goodell has reached a decision on Michael Vick, NFL sources told ESPN.

League sources told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio and Chris Mortensen Thursday that sometime next week Goodell is expected to announce a conditional reinstatement of Vick, which would allow Vick to go to training camp if he signed with a team but that could also include a four-game suspension.

i wouldnt mind trying him out.. lets see what he still gots... its probably better than what we have now. maybe favre can play a season and he can sit the season to learn the system.. he should be very cheap anyway.

Should be and will be are two very different things.

Someone will pay him a good salary *coughRaiders... because they are that hurtin and think he stil lhas it.

Vick is the last person i want to see starting for us.
I'd rather have Booty.
not because of the dogfighting bullshit, but for the reason that we need a passing threat.
We need a guy that can make defenses respect the pass, not key in on the run even more.

The guy went to prison for killing dogs...I think anything more than 4 games would be unfair.
He's paid his debts.

I am surprised though - was expecting a full year.

Can you imagine the uproar from the voting populace in MN if this organization brought him in?

Dude is damaged goods and the people (Non Sports Fans) of MN wouldn't stand for it and the Zygmiester would never get a stadium deal done.

The way I remember it, was he was facing a year long suspension.

He went to jail, and was to be punished on top of his jail sentence.
He mus thave gone under the table or something in his meeting with Goddell, because I was not expecting him to play at all next season.
