And he was #5 overall?
Damn, AJ Hawk is certainly going to want a deal close to Vince Young's (5 years: $25.7 million guaranteed and maximum value of $58 million) than Davis's! The drop off between #3 and #5 is HUGE!!

Of course, D'Brickashaw was #4.
What was the value of his deal again? It's going to be interesting to compare all the top 10 deals side-by-side to see where the biggest drop-offs in terms of overall and guranteed money are.
I'm not sure what he signed for. The only thing I found was Terms of Ferguson’s contract weren't immediately available, but he likely received a five- or six-year deal that includes at least $17 million in guaranteed money.
I just checked that link you showed earlier, the NFL.com one, and it said Ferguson's deal is undisclosed. Due to my constant PFT reading I take that as a sign that the agents didn't want to publicise the deal because they know it wasn't the best they could get.

There's gonna be a huge disparity between Young, Hawk and Davis simply based on the fact that they play different positions. Hawk shouldn't expect to get paid like Young b/c QB's make alot more than LB's. From the outside it looks like Young got a hell of a lot more than Davis, but Davis' signing (even though its a lot less than Young) made him the highest paid TE in the League. It's all relative.Quote:
