    Urlacher gets pushed aside !

Did anyone notice this in the Bears-Colts game ? Colts have the ball on the Chicago 2, and run straight up the middle. Urlacher moves in to make the play, and the Colts get an O-lineman on him and just move him completely out of the play !!
    :-\

I hope the Vikings offense was watching that.

I think we did exactly that 2 years ago (or was it 3?).
McKinnie was helmet-to-helmet with Urlacher all game and it completely removed him as a threat.
Urlacher is a great LB, but if Hutch or McKinnie get on him there isn't much he can do.

When you can get a 300 pound plus lineman with a head of steam on a linebacker in the 250 pound range that is the normal result.
I would take Urlacher on my team any day.

I dunno....if the thought-process were "What ONE non-Viking would you add to their roster on Defense?", I'd have to think long and hard about Ed Reed or Adrian Wilson before Urlacher.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

I don't think any one player makes more of an impact on a defense than Urlacher does.
The bears would probably have a losing record without him.
    Safeties just aren't as important.

Urlacher plays in a scheme where he can excel.
not sure he is a smart player, as much as he is aggressive and fast
